The conclusion of illusion

Illusion: the state or fact of being intellectually deceived or misled.

Are you intellectually deceived or misled by the above pic?

Life is full of  illusions. Something looking one way and turning out

not to be that way at all.

 

Do you see  a triangle within the image below? Take a look.

If you see a triangle you are intellectually deceived and misled. You see something that is not there. You see an illusion of a triangle. Take another look. Notice how your mind fills in the spaces between Pacman images (remember Pacman?) to create an illusion of something that is not there. Something familiar. In this case a triangle. Try to un-see the triangle that isn't there.  It sure looks real, huh? Isn't that interesting? 

Kinda like life. We create illusions about life's circumstances to fit our point of view. To fit our familiar experiences. Not everyone sees something to be fearful or limiting within the same situation.  Not everyone sees something creative and life-enriching within the same situation.

We develop our point of view about life's various and sundry events like we develop an accent; from our environment, from others. It takes us over without us even noticing it is taking us over.

We create illusions that we call reality. Everything just IS.....awaiting our point of view, awaiting our perception. That's neither good nor bad. But sure good to know.

If you find yourself in a fearful or limiting situation, take another look. Your willingness to be open-minded just might reveal something pleasantly surprising.

Of course, an understanding of this phenomenon takes some thinking.

Talk about illusions. 

See an iceberg?

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Look again. There is only an illusion of an iceberg.

What you see is a tip of an iceberg. Not the iceberg itself.

 

To have a complete view of an iceberg you need

to know what is below the surface.

 

 

 

 

To get an accurate sense of your complete self you need to know what is beneath the surface of illusions that limit you in any way. You will surely find the reality of unlimited possibilities.

TODAY I WILL REMEMBER

 THERE ARE NO LIMITS AT MY CORE.

GREATNESS IS MY NATURE.

LIMITATION IS A BORE.

Should you accept this assignment don't be surprised to find yourself breaking habits that limit you in any way. As a matter of fact, you can expect it!

 

Reinforce the above affirmation every morning and as you replace a fading happy face on your thumb. This assignment is to continue each day until the next assignment in the next issue of 'The 11th Commandment'.

on how to pick and choose, 

on what it is that you should do

from someone else's views.

 

No one knows what's best for you,

 although they do mean well.

No one has an inkling of

what it takes to ring your bell. 

 

To follow someone else's rules

on how to be and live,

will drive you nuts and off your course,

should 'in' you decide to 'give'. 

 

Take my advice, don't take advice

from others that you know.

They cannot see your vision

'cause they're watching their own show.

 

The vision held inside your heart 

is yours alone to see.

from anyone...................but me!
